Interview with Computing: Zaizi’s recent successes and award wins

Growing our public sector client base made 2020 Zaizi’s “best year yet” — and there’s more to come, says our founder and CEO Aingaran Pillai in an interview with the UK’s leading business technology publication.

The interview, published on Computing.co.uk, looks at our work with government clients, including recognition from the industry on the work we’ve been doing recently.

Hot on the heels of our 2019 awards win, last year we were jointly nominated in the DevOps Excellence Awards alongside The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in the Best DevOps Transformation category. We also submitted the NCSC by itself for The Most Successful Cultural Transformation award, which it won.

In the interview, Ainga says our clients feel Zaizi’s user-centric approach — the desire to empathise with users and solve their problems — sets us apart from competitors.

This people-focused approach is one of the reasons why we adapted to the complications presented by the Covid-19 pandemic. We’ve helped both our clients and our own staff during this difficult period.

Zaizi had a successful 2020; Ainga points out we won new business and, as a result, substantially increased our headcount.

And our need to find better ways to serve our public sector clients continues into 2021, he adds, specifically around our Product Management and Service Design offerings.
