Zaizi talent nominated for Computing DevOps Excellence Awards 2025
Two Zaizi team members have been nominated for the prestigious Computing DevOps Excellence Awards 2025.
Hasitha is nominated for the ‘DevOps Professional of the Year’, while Emily is up for the ‘DevOps Rising Star of the Year.’
The award recognition comes alongside another significant achievement recently — the innovative solution Zaizi helped build with Border Force won a Global Customs Innovation Award.
The Computing DevOps Excellence awards showcase achievements from organisations, personalities and solutions that have successfully applied DevOps methodologies. The organisers say the panel of prestigious judges selected the nominees “for their exemplary contributions.”
Hasitha’s award recognises a professional “who has taken DevOps to their core, and produced results not possible without seamless blending of development and operations.”
The Rising Star award acknowledges a high flyer that has “shown evidence of excellence and of going above and beyond normal expectations.”
These nominations show the kind of experts Zaizi nurtures and the incredible talent working on our government projects.

“I’m proud to be part of such a talented group, and this nomination is a testament to our collective efforts in pushing the boundaries of DevOps.”

Emily said: “I’m incredibly honoured to be nominated for DevOps Rising Star of the Year — it’s a testament to the people, passion, and purpose that drive everything we do at Zaizi.
“This recognition reflects not just my efforts but the dedication of an amazing team pushing boundaries every day. I’m so grateful for the people around me through this wild journey — and excited for what’s ahead!”

Our chief people officer Tracey Robinson said: “I couldn’t be more proud of Emily and Hasitha.”
“Emily came to us as a graduate not knowing what she wanted to do, so to see her thrive at Zaizi and be promoted twice gives me immense pleasure. Hasitha has been an unsung hero for all things devops at Zaizi for many years, so it’s great to see him nominated for this prestigious award.
“Both Hasitha and Emily live and breathe our values here at Zaizi, especially when it comes to Passion: they enthuse and inspire others, they love what they do and they always want to do better. And they truly both do exceptional things!
“Their success is a testament to our commitment to realising potential — we provide training and support that empowers our people to become experts in their fields and gain skills that are in high demand.”
